The language proficiency test fide was initiated by the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) and is recognized nationwide in Switzerland.

You can use it in your application documents for the extension of residence permits B or C, for naturalization, when registering for further education, or applying to job offers.

The fide Test consists of two parts: "Speaking and Understanding" and "Reading and Writing." 

In the fide Test, the result will not be "passed" or "not passed"; instead, your achieved CEFR level (A1, A2, or B1) in various skills will be indicated, depending on demonstrated abilities and your tested language proficiency.

Course duration: 15, 20 or 25 lessons of 45 minutes

The telc (The European Language Certificates) German exams are designed to assess the proficiency of individuals in the German language and are an internationally recognized certification.

Successfully passing one of these exams provides you with a certificate that is recognized by employers, immigration authorities, universities, and educational institutions throughout Europe. This certification serves as professional proof of your German language skills.

The levels of the telc German exams range from A1 for beginners to C1, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
